  i used steve for 6 years and always paid in full and on time. the last time i went to pay for his services i was called into his office where i assumed he was just checking to make sure i was happy with the work and understood what was done but i was wrong. we chatted for an hour about random things and one question that took 2 minutes to answer. after i left i got an invoice for $87.50. what? i had just paid a large invoice for his services but he had charged me his cpa rate for calling me in and chatting. i didn't request this face to face meeting. i challenged the invoice and asked him to drop or reduce it but instead he told me my account was terminated. i wouldn't recommend anyone use him based on this unscrupulous behavior.
